New England Masters 2001 Short Course Yards Championship April 27-29, 2001 Blodgett Pool, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

Please be aware of the following scratch and check-in policies and procedures for the meet:

The meet information packet originally indicated that there would be positive check-in for all events. This is no longer the case. We will only be doing positive check-ins for the distance events (1650 free, 1000 free, 400 IM, and 500 free). All other events will be pre-seeded.

You may positive check-in via email, or in person (or someone else may check you in) for the 1650 free, 1000 free, 400 IM, and 500 free. For email check-in, please send an email to nem-scy-checkin@swimindex.com, and include your full name, team affiliation, event name, and your seed time. You will receive an automatic receipt via email within a few minutes. You should print out this receipt and bring it with you to the meet. If we do not process your check-in for some reason, and you do not have your email receipt, then you will not be allowed to swim. You may submit check-ins for multiple people and/or multiple events in a single email, as long as your list is very clear.

• Friday distance events (1650, 1000, 400 IM): Friday 12:00 noon until 30 minutes before event starts. (Until 12:30pm for the women's 1650 free.)
• Saturday (women's 500 free): Any time on Friday until Saturday at 8:00am (event starts at 8:30am)
• Sunday (men's 500 free): Any time on Saturday until Sunday at 8:00am (event starts at 8:30am)

• Friday distance events (1650, 1000, 400 IM): Friday 12:01am until 12:00 noon (no email check-in after 12:00 noon for any event)
• Saturday (women's 500 free): Saturday 12:01am until 7:30am (this closes one hour before the event starts)
• Sunday (men's 500 free): Sunday 12:01am until 7:30am (this closes one hour before the event starts)

Since we will not be doing positive check-in for the non-distance events, we request that if you know you will not be able to swim an event, that you please let us know by scratching, so we can fill the empty lanes, and keep the meet going. To scratch an event (or mutliple events), send an email to nem-scy-scratch@swimindex.com, and include your full name, team affiliation, event, and time. We will scratch you from the event. (You will not receive a confirmation email immediately.)
